Shear Xpectations Policy's

Appointment Arrival Policy
We have a specific time slot allotted for most services, so it is important to be on time for your appointment. If you are late for a scheduled service, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Child Policy
Please understand that other guests are trying to have quiet, relaxing time at the salon.  We ask that you refrain from bringing any children with you to your appointments, especially chemical services such as color, highlights, or chemical services or treatments.    

Cancellation Policy
We understand the need to occasionally cancel or reschedule an appointment. However, no shows and cancellations within a 48 hour time frame impact other clients and us tremendously. Our no show and cancellation policies are as follows:

Cancellation Policy

First time clients or first time scheduling colors, chemical services, formal styles, down/up do’s or services scheduled longer than one hour must pre pay a $50.00 non-refundable payment towards the service before being allowed to schedule an appointment. This payment is nonrefundable unless the client calls before 48 hours and cancels or moves appointment to another day and can transfer the payment to the new date. If the appointment time has arrived and the client does not show for the appointment or doesn’t call to move or cancel the appointment the payment cannot be transferred to another day and we will retain the $50.00 payment for the missed appointment. Another $50.00 payment will be required to reschedule any future appointments. Once a client is already established in our database and is aware of the policy and doesn’t show for an appointment they will be required to pay $50.00 towards their next appointment. If the client doesn’t show to an appointment or doesn’t cancel within 48 hours to any other appointments after 2 appointments have been missed then we must receive in full the payment for the full service that was scheduled and missed and another $50.00 payment towards the next appointment before we can allow them to continue to as a client with us. We keep notes in our records on when clients are notified and the date when we made them aware of the policy. Thank you for your cooperation.

Bridal Parties Policy
For any bridal party of 3 or more, we must have a valid credit card number for the purpose of securing appointments.  The card must be physically present to schedule these appointments.  Please understand that all appointments made for a bridal party need to be confirmed 5 days prior to the event date and any and all changes to the party, including cancellations, must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event date.  Shear Xpectations will charge your account number for the full price for any and all appointment cancellations or “no shows” that occur without 48 hours notice.  

Cancellation with Gift Certificates
If you do not show for your appointment or do not cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance and a gift certificate was used to schedule your appointment, the gift certificate will be void.
